The Inspirational Teacher

Learn how to teach handwriting better than anyone else by giving your students less than 15mins practice a day!

Are you ready to...

STOP your students joining the statistic that says up to 34% of children leave school being unable to write.

BANISH those nagging and self-doubting thoughts of not knowing what to do next.

START thinking children need to learn handwriting skills based on their developmental abilities rather than by what year group they are in.

STAND OUT in the crowd by your students achieving exemplary grades rather than their handwriting being too difficult to read and mark.

Become an inspirational teacher

Get the latest knowledge and facts based on up to date handwriting research, build your own resource file for handwriting that works in the 'real world', discover how to notice the early signs that a child needs extra help and make that difference to a child's life so that they grow up with opportunities that are not just pipe dreams.

...all this can be achieved in less than 15 minutes handwriting practice a day (honest!)

Hi, I’m Sheilagh, a children's occupational therapist, best-selling author of 'The Early Handwriting Toolkit' and the founder of Help with Handwriting.

I’ve worked with hundreds of children, parents, teachers and schools. I’m proud and privileged to have been involved in some incredible children who have flourished in confidence and skill when working with me. Including 8-year-old Tom* who started as a reluctant writer and later won a school story writing competition. Then there was Sarah*, aged 7 3/4’s who increased her handwriting speed in less than 2 weeks to above her chronological age. Only yesterday I heard that based on the information included in this course a teacher has looked at every child's pencil grip, helped those that needed to change and now the whole classes handwriting is improving. That is amazing results.

I love helping children love handwriting. Who do you know who I can help?

PS I also create my own handwriting worksheets. What you will be given in this course is exactly the same as what I use every day when I help the children I see learn how to write. The best bit is I know they work and thye keep handwriting fun!

"I’ve learnt it is possible to improve handwriting with more hands-on ‘fun’ activities rather than handwriting in books"

Chris Witkowski , Penn Wood Nursery and Primary School, Slough, UK.
